Short characteristics of the site:
This locality is represented by recently discovered peatbog.It is connected with a deeply cut of the Otice brook. According to palynological analyses the initial stages of peatbog development can be dated into the beginning of the |Holocenwe. The locality belongs to the Moldanubicum Zone and Šumava Mts and to the Quaternary "denudational" areas of Bohemia.
