Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The hydrogeological drilling, water outflow in a brook. The area consists of the Cretaceous sediments. Their section includes basal sandstones of the Peruc-Korycany Formation and overlying finer grained sediments of the Bílá Hora Formation. The vertical alternation of sediments with different porosity makes also possible the alternation of collectors and isolators. Detailed hydrogeological studies were carried out in this area. This locality belongs to the National Geopart "Železné hory - the Iron Mountains".
