Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Lysina peat bog, the highest part of the Kladské rašeliniště National Nature Reserve, lies at an elevation of 930–950 m and is characterized by very low water pH (3.9–4.4) and increased conductivity due to high concentrations of humic acids from peat decomposition. Although it is not directly affected by drainage systems, the low outflow, pH and persistently low groundwater levels indicate gradual degradation in its northern section.
