Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
This locality occurs in the southwestern promontory of the Chvaletice Massif. The rock cliffs form a part of long rocky ridge. The rocks are formed by fine grained two-mica granite. The most interesting part of the ridge is called "Vlčí sklála - the Wolf´s Rock." The rocks are often disintegrated into large block by frost weathering. The highest part of this rock has been artificially adapted for tourists and nature lovers and stony desk surrounded by stony chairs modelled. This locality belongs to the National Geopark "Železné hory - the Iron Mts.
