Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Forested summit area of a hill formed of a neovolcanic dyke of the olivine nepheline basanite. This volcanic body has been isolated by erosion from the surrounding Cretaceous sandstones of the Březno Formation (Coniacian). Petrologically and geomorphologically remarkable locality.
