Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
This locality is represented by old flooded quarries and grnodiorite outcrops. The locality belongs to so called Nasavrky Pluton, part of the ˇŽelezné hory Central plutonic complex. Petrographically these granodiorites pass into tonalites. The granodiorites are surrounded by small metagabbro bodies. The granodiorites are deeply weathered and their regolith cover is comparatively thick. Small exhibition of stones is being prepared and informational panel realized. The locality belongs to the National Geopark "Želené hory - the Iron Mts.".
