Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonošed-Jizera Massif.Part of the Protcted Landscape Area.Locality called Kočičí kameny (the Cat´s stones) shows group of rocks on a ridge with blocks on its slopes. Rocks are formed of medium- up to coarse-grained porphyric biotite granite. Accessible summit of this rock massif offers magnificent view on granite forested ridges on the Krkonoše-Jizera landscape. Nearby rock consists of dark grey biotite hornfels.
