Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline, Quaternary. Channel of the Jizera River with a section of its flood plain sediments. This section shows alternation of gravel with pebbly sand and finer grained sediments. It documents development of a river regime. Clasts consist mainly of the Jizera granite, quartz, feldspar and some mica.
