Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
This locality shows a plane with low set of exposures where greyish and bluish limestones crop out. They alternate with calcareous sltstones and silty limestones. On their surface films and crusts of some ore minerals, as that of copper, can be observed. Nearby calcareous siltstones and pelosiderites with some silicites crop out. All of them belong to the Kalná Horizon of the Prosečná Formation of the Lower Permian. Geologically they belong to the Krkonoše Piedmont Basin.
