Geology

Short characteristics of the site: The rocky outcrop in form of a frost cliff in a slope overlooking the Světlá river valley. This rock represents variety of peraluminous two-mica granite of the Mrákotín composite pluton. The rock is diintegrated into blocks which evidences periglacial Pleistocene periods. This locality belongs to the Central Massif of the Moldanubicum Zone.
