Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Permocarboniferous of Central and Western Bohemia. Erosional gully with outcrops of basal member of the Slaný Formation. Varied depositional sequence consists of sandstones, claystones and a layer of silicified conglomerates. Lens-like bodies of coarse grained sandstones indicate flujvial depositional environment. Common current bedding allowed paleocurrent reconstruction.
