Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Permocarboniferous, Central and Western Bohemia. Erosional gully with outcrops of sediments of variable grain size (Stephanian C age). Subarkoses alternate with fne grained quartzose sandstones, siltstones and claystones. Several bed sets have erosional base possibly showing migration of river channels. Common current bedding allowed detailed paleocurrent reconstruction.
