Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Relics of mine workings and surrounding blocky scree. Local bedrock consists of graphitic schists which were formerly explopited just for their graphic content. This rock is dar grey up to black, banded, and contains relics of rutile,sericitized feldspar and prevailing quartz. Graphite amount is between 5 and 20 p.c.
