Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Section in wall of abandoned quarry. Fine- and middle-grained sandstones of upper part of the Línská Fm. of Carboniferous. Claystone admixture is abundant. Stratification such as lamination and cross-bedding indicates the deposition in meandering river bed rich on clastic material.
