Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Small abandoned quarries with a Teplice rhyolite overlain by Cretaceous boulder conglomerate. Cretaceous sediments fill holes in the rhyolite surface. Rhyolite consists of ignimbrite with quartz, K-feldspars, plagioclases and altered pyoxenes. Cretaceous sediments contain rudists. Sedimentologically significant locality.
