Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Quartzose sandstones of the Korycany Beds of the Peruc-Korycany Formaotion. 20 m high cliffs of quadersandstones with sme conglomerate layers. Pebbles consist of quartz with some lydites and quartzites. Glauconite does not occur. Interesting erosional and weathering features, frost cliffs are common. Popular tourist locality, overlooking Krkonoše Mountains.
