Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše Piedmont Basin, Permocarboniferous. Rock wall in fine-grained sandstones of the Havlovice Beds, part of the Trutnov Formation. Well bedded mottled sandstones with siltstone interbeds. Also whitish sandstones occur. Some sandstone layers have carbonate admixture.
