Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Lusatian Massif, Krkonoše-Jizera Massif, Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline, Rýchory crystalline. One of the best outcrops of chloritic-muscovitic and albitic mica schists. Rocks are foliated and crenulated with albite porphyroblasts. Microscopic banding, alternation of quartz-rich and muscovite-chlorite-rich bands. Locally lenses and layers of secretory quartz.
