Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Small quarry and outcrop in road cut, exposing migmatized and recrystallized biotite granulite. Alternation of bands consisting of biotite and quartz. Younger metamorphic structure S2 can be observed on this locality. This granulite is a part of the Křišťanov granulite body.
