Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Flat elevation covered by blocky scree. It consists of phyllites, called the "Rittsteig Phyllite", exotic rock in the Šumava Mts. These phyllites belong to the Moldanubicum, which proved a deep drilling nearby on a German territory, carried out in 2001. Phyllites represent a tectonic slice placed between typical rocks of the Šumava Mts.
