Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline Complex. Outcrop on the summit of Modré kameny (Blue Rocks) elevation formed of metaquartzite with great amount of muscovite flakes. Very distinct foliation with crenulation folds containing veinlets of whitish quartz. Nearby contact of described metaquartzite with Krkonoše orthogneiss.
