Short characteristics of the site:
Moravosilesian Palaeozoic. Abandoned pit quarry where limestones were expoited. These limestones belong to the Květnice Series, the Heroltice-Lažánky Limestone, stratigraphic equivalent of the Middle Devonian Macocha Formation. Slight karstification can be observed, including karren and small caves.
