Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, Quaternary. Vegetated abandoned sand pit exposing Early Pleistocene sand and gravel. They represent relics of deposits of unknown stream. They were formerly taken for Pliocene fluvial deposits, however, according to newly defined Pliocene/Pleistocene boundary reclassified as Early Pleiustocene ones.
