Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Geological escarp with steep rocky slopes. The section consists of rhythmically alternating metagreywackes, metasiltstone and phyllitic schists. Described alternation reminds typical flysch development. Stratigraphically these rocks belong to the Hlinsko-rychmurk Beds and is probably of the Ordovician age.
