Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline. Outcrops in the brook valley exposing metabasites. They contain relics of primary rocks metamorphosed under blueschist facies conditions. High-pressure and low-temperature metamorphosis was associated with subduction of plate passive margin of the Saxothuringicum under a nucleus of the Bohemian Massif.
