Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Carpathians, Silesian and Subsilesian units, Cretaceous, Godula development. Outcrops along a river bank shoiwing pikrite lavas, monchiquites and oiverelying calcareous claystones. Pikrites contain amygdaloids filled with calcite and chlorite. Olivine phenocrysts are usually altered to serpentine and calcite. Monchiquites contain pyroxene and hornblende.
