Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, Cenomanian. Abandoned open pit exposing yellowish medium-grained quartzose sandstones of the Cenomanian Korycany Beds (part of the Peruc-Korycany Formation). Formerly, quartzose sandstones were quarried there.
