Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše Piedmont Basin, Upper Carboniferous volcanites. In a gorge bedding planes of greyish limestones and siltstones of the Semily Formation crop out. In limestones, lenses of silicites occur. Mud cracks on bedding planes can be observed.
