Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Brno Massif, western part. Old vegetated quarry with outcrops of medium grained hornblende-biotite granodiorite with potassium feldspar phenocrysts. Among accessoric mnerals zircon, apatite and sphene prevail, allanite was also found. Feldspars are sericitized, dark minerals chloritized.
