Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Brno Massif, westeren part. Small quarry showing stromatitic muscovite-biotite migmatites of the Brno Massif mantle. These rocks have been affected by two metamorphic phases, first one took place 580-560 Ma ago, second one during Variscan orogeny. A dyke oof muiscovite granite cuts migmatites in a central part of this quarry.
