Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, Quaternary. Pleistocene loess. This locality occurs near surveyed but not exploited deposit of brick raw material. The loess contains carbonate admixture (several per cent of CaCO3) and common rhyzolites. By washing some mollusc shells were separated and identified indicating Pleistocene loess steppe environment.
