Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, Quaternary. Spring field on a steep slope. Springs are bound to lithological boundary between unerlying granite and overlying Cretaceous sediments. Mounds of calcareous tuffa occur along some springs. Tuffa was occassionally exploited, possibly for soil liming.
