Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moravosilesian Palaeozoic, Devonian. Outcrops in a road cut and nearby area. Basal Lower Devonian clastics. Conglomerates of a breccia character with angular and subroundeed clasts of quart, granitoids, cherts, basalts, quartzites and siltstones. In a nearby small quarry a bed of quartzose conglomerates embedded in reddish siltstones occurs. Also a regolith of weathered granitoids can be found.
