Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A forested crest of Cretaceous quartzose sandstones of the Březno Formation (Coniacian). The axial part of the crest hosts a dyke of polzenite, now not in outcrops. Sandstones in the dyke proximity are silicified and split into columns due to the thermal effect of magma emplacement. A unique geomorphic feature, best of its kind in the Czech Republic.
