Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moravian Palaeozoic, Devonian. Scattered outcrops on a plain margin, adjacent slope and gully bottom. Lowermost granitoids of the Brno Massif are overlain by limestones of the Macocha Formation. Limestones are micritic, bioclastic and of so called Amphipora type. Nature reserve in the Protected Landscape Area Moravian Karst.
