Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
This locality belongs to South Bohemian (Třeboň and České Budějovice)basins. It is called "Dunajovická hora - the Dunajovice Mount" and exposes fine grained muscovite-biotite granite of Mrákotím type in a large abandoned quarry. The locality is intersected by a fault which tectonically affected surrounding rocks. This locality is attractive for visitors, because the elevation summit overlooks the Třebonň basin and also for presence of medicinal water spring and small lake.
