Short characteristics of the site:
The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. In a set of abandoned quarries quartzose sandstones and calcareous sandstones of Upper Cenomanian age crop out. Sandstones are fossiliferous, oysters and rudists are accumulated in several layers. One of quarries became famous thanks to find of dinosaur skeleton fragment (Igaunodont).
