Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Permocarboniferous of the Krkonošed Piedmont and Inner Sudetian (Lower Silesian) basins. Local occurrence of fen peat. The Qaternary fen deposits were palynologically studied and their section subdivided into seven pollen zones. The deposits are 2800 up to 3000 years old.
