Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Permocarboniferous of the Krkonoše Piedmont and Inner Sudetian (Lower Silesian) basins. The outcrop exposes conglomerates of the Semily FOormation. They consiíst of sharp-edged fragments and greywacke matrix. Distinct fining-upward sequence is visible. In the topmost parts a thin layer of bituminous limestones occurs.
