Short characteristics of the site:
This locality is called "The spilites at the Klíčov dam". Local quarry exposes slightly metamorphosed basalt. It is of Neoproterozoic age, fine grained, of greygreen colour. This basalt is albitized and numerous thin veinlets cut its body. At the spilite margin concordant contact with Neoproterozoic sediments and metasediments can be observed.
