Short characteristics of the site:
Neovolcanics of the České Střžedohoří Mts. Tertiary bgasalt intrusion into Middle Turonian marlstones and silty marlstones. This basalt is locally brecciated and contains numerous xenoliths of surronding metamorphosed Cretaceous sediments. Voids in basalt are filled by several species of zeolites, calcite and aragonite.
