Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline. Morphological features - set of depressions called Sněžné jámy (the Snow Holes). Their genesis is linked with a Pleistocene glaciation of the Krkonoše Mts. and represent typical kars. On their slopes intensite tectonic fissuring along two systems can be seen. Basement orock consists of leucocratic granite.
