Short characteristics of the site:
This locality is represented by the highest waterfall in the Czech Republic. It occurs on mountainous riverlet Mumlava, is 9.9 metres high and 10 metres wide. The basement rock is classified as coarse-grained porphyric biotite granite. Just at the base of this waterfall two giant kettle holes occur. Some other holes occur in the upper waterfall part. Water discharge is variable, in winter this waterfall changes in an ice fall.
