Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
West Carpathians, Račany Unit. Rocky area consisting oof sandstones and conglomerates of the Hostýn Formation of the Magura flysch (Paleocene age). Interesting relief with isolated rocky bodies and mesorelief phenomena, resulting from selective weathering. Old natural vegetation, mainly beech woodlands. Nature Monument.
