Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
West Carpathians, Račany Unit, Paleocene, Magura flysch. Sandstone castellated ridge dominates forested area. The sandstones are of the Paleocene age, stratigraphically belong to the Lukov beds of the Hostýn Formation. Relief was modelled by a frost weathering, the ridge was detached into three individual massives. Interesting vegetation with relic Scotch pine and sedge. This locality is protected as a Nature Monument.
