Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry and surrounding outcrops. Lower part of the uppermost member of the Žacléř Formation is exposed (Petrovice Member, Westphalian B-C): coarse grained conglomerate with prevailing pebbles of light grey orthoquartzite (facies of Hronov conglomerate). Stratigraphically important locality.
