Short characteristics of the site:
The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. The base of sandstone sequence of the Jizera Formation (Upper Turonian. Just above river flood plain ooutcrops of medium up to coarse grained quartzose sandstones. Upper Pleistocene loess and sandstone weathering residue form a rock cover. Interesting flora and fauna.
