Short characteristics of the site:
The geological nature trail showing mainly exposures of freshwater Cretaceous Cenomanian claystones with abundant fossil flora. Abandoned quarries expose layers of silty marlstones which are weathered out from glaconitic sandstones. Tectonic situation is described and sketched on boards.
