Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Permocarboniferous of the Boskovice Graben. Nature monument protecting morphologically interesting rock relief forms,such as pillars and columns. Anthropomorphic relief form of these columns (so called long-necked old woman) belongs to well known geological curiosities. These rocks are formed of the Permocarboniferous reddish conglomerates, sedimentary fill of the Boskovice Graben. Conglomerates are coarse grained, with clasts as large as 40 cm and represent alluvial fan and wash-out fans of marginal parts of the Graben.
