Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moravicum, Proterozoic. Narrow rocky ridge and adjacent river channel with outcrops. Rocks are classified as muscovite- and sericite-muscovite orthogneis of the Bíteš Group. Great accumulation of blocky scree below outcrops. Traces of frost weathering, distinct relief features as frost cliffs. Selective orthogneiss weathering. Nature Monuments, relics of foliaceous scree growths.
